Aziz Ansari and Eric Wareheim made a weird spoof video for Kanye West’s ‘Famous’

The video, shot in Rome, sees the pair goofing around to West’s track

Eric Wareheim has shared a spoof music video for Kanye West’s ‘The Life of Pablo’ track ‘Famous’.

The video sees Wareheim – one half of comedy duo Tim & Eric – and fellow comedian Aziz Ansari dancing on the streets of Rome, riding bicycles and sampling the local cuisine, all while miming along to the song’s lyrics.

Those familiar with Wareheim’s Adult Swim series will recognise the surreal, weird humour and comically exaggerated use of special effects.

The pair are currently filming the second season of Netflix comedy series Master of None, which also stars Noël Wells, Kelvin Yu and Lena Waithe.

It’s not the first music video that Wareheim has directed. He has also worked on official videos for Major Lazer, Charli XCX, Beach House, Flying Lotus, MGMT and more.

West is yet to release a music video for ‘The Life of Pablo’, although he is reported to be currently filming one for album track ’Waves’ on the Scottish Isle of Skye.

The Daily Record reports that while on the Isle of Skye, West stayed at the Skeabost House Hotel, booking seven rooms for him and his entourage. It’s owners have described him as the “perfect guest”.

West has been busy travelling this month having performed his first live gig of 2016 at the Paradise International Music Festival in The Philippines last weekend (April 9).
