Kanye West’s ‘Famous’ is now on Spotify and Apple Music

It's the first 'Life Of Pablo' track to appear anywhere other than Tidal

Kanye West‘s ‘Famous’ is now available on Spotify and Apple Music, making it the first track from the rapper’s ‘The Life Of Pablo’ album to migrate from Tidal.

West recently updated ‘Famous’, which features vocals from Rihanna and lyrics that controversially reference Taylor Swift, to include a Nina Simone sample. It is this, tweaked version of the track that now appears on Spotify and Apple Music.

The rapper did not announce the track’s wider release on Twitter and has yet to confirm if any other tracks from ‘The Life Of Pablo’ will be added to streaming services other than Tidal.

Tidal have recently extended their free 30-day sign up period to enable fans to listen to the album, which it has streamed exclusively since it dropped in February.

West, who is widely expected to announce an accompanying tour very shortly, marked Easter Sunday yesterday (March 27) by http://www.nme.com/news/kanye-west/92574]sharing a new version of the track ‘Ultralight Beam’ titled ‘Ultralight Prayer’.

Taking advantage of the original’s gospel elements, West has tweaked the track’s lyrics to include the lines “Let them know that’s why you took the nail; so we could have eternal life,” and “you will forgive all of our wrongs and make us new again”.
