The rapper will headline the Worthy Farm event on Saturday night (June 27)
Kanye West is heading to Glastonbury Festival ahead of his headline performance on Saturday night (June 27), with wife Kim Kardashian posting a selfie of the pair online to mark the occasion.
The rapper is preparing to headline the Pyramid Stage this evening, with Florence And The Machine opening the festival last night (June 26) and The Who closing the event on Sunday (June 28).
Kardashian, who is pregnant with West’s second child, uploaded a picture on Saturday afternoon of the pair in a helicopter, seemingly flying in to Worthy Farm. She wrote in a caption: “Glastonbury here we come”.

Meanwhile, West has responded to a recent petition set up by Glastonbury-goers angered by his booking.
Following the announcement that the rapper would be headlining this year, an online petition calling for the artist to be replaced by a rock band attracted more than 133,000 signatures.
Speaking to Q, he labelled it “an insult to music fans all over the world” but denied that race would have been a factor.
Previously, Dave Grohl had stated that the protest would only fuel West to prove doubters wrong. See more in the video interview below.
Glastonbury organiser Emily Eavis recently spoke about what to expect from West’s upcoming headline set, telling Digital Spy: “I think he’ll create an incredible show. What he’s talking about at the moment is very exciting. I think he’s going to take it big”.
