ITV deny reports Kanye West ‘refused to speak’ to Jonathan Ross

Rapper to appear as musical guest on TV chat show this evening

ITV have denied reports that Kanye West refused to speak to chat show host Jonathan Ross during an appearance on his chat show.

West appears on The Jonathan Ross Show this evening (February 28) on a line-up that also includes guests Madonna, Martin Clunes, Sigourney Weaver and former footballer Thierry Henry.

The show was filmed on Thursday night and some reports suggested that West refused to chat with Ross. A source told The Sun that West performed new song ‘Only One’ on the show but after the performance ended West refused to say anything while lying on his back on the floor.

Ross then reported went to lay beside him and joked about the size of his bum in comparison to wife Kim Kardashian’s. “If you want to spoon I don’t mind. It’s not as big as Kim’s but it is all yours,” Ross said.

However, an ITV source denies that West “refused” to chat with Ross and, when reached for comment by NME, clarified that the rapper was only ever due to perform live “which he did brilliantly.”

The Jonathan Ross Show is on ITV tonight at 9:40PM.

West was in London following The Brit Awards, at which he debuted a heavily censored version of new song ‘All Day’.

Prior to the Brit Awards, West posed for photographs with customers after being spotted in a London branch of Nando’s.
