Will Smith has recorded ‘seven or eight’ songs with Kanye West.

The actor and rapper confirmed in 2013 that he was working with West, after they had been photographed together in a studio in Brazil. Smith then went on record as saying that he had been “messing around with Kanye”.

Now, speaking to Hollyscoop via Consequence of Sound, he has said he’s recorded a number of new songs with West. “You know I’ve recorded a lot,” he commented. “I’ve recorded a lot. I don’t have anything I like yet, but I’ve probably recorded seven or eight [songs]. It’s not for certain, it’s just explorative.”

He previously stated: “I’m not sure what I’m going to do yet but I’m exploring. I’m in a creative ceiling. My son tells me I have to write out the things I don’t like. I can’t write and stop, I have to keep going and going and write them out. I’ve never worked like that before but I think I might give that a shot.” Will Smith last released an album in 2005 with fourth studio LP ‘Lost And Found’.

Kanye West debuted a brand new song, entitled ‘All Day’, at the Brit Awards this week. However, Liam Gallagher branded the performance “utter shit”.
