Theophilus London shares story of playing forthcoming record and "moshing drunk with mad babes."
Kanye West reportedly played his new album to just 20 people at a Paris Fashion Week party on Wednesday night (September 24).
The news comes via rapper Theophilus London, whose own forthcoming album ‘Vibes!’ credits West as an executive producer. He posted the following picture on Instagram with the caption: “So shortly after this picture I only remember kanye playing his new album 3 times in a dark room of 20 people last night and moshing drunk with mad babes haha.”
Additionally, when publications began reporting on his Instagram post, London corrected them on Twitter to claim that he will appear on the first single to be taken from West’s follow up to ‘Yeezus’
Kanye West is in Paris for Fashion Week and was apprehended by Ukranian prankster Vitalii Sediuk while attending the Balmain catwalk show with wife Kim Kardashian yesterday (September 25). According to reports, Sediuk attempted to tackle Kardashian to the floor and managed to grab her ankles, tripping her against the side of a car.
Earlier this year West revealed details of the follow-up to his 2013 album ‘Yeezus’, saying he already has most of the first single finished. He explained that he’s recorded a new song similar to his 2012 Jay Z collaboration ‘Niggas In Paris’ that could be played in a club, saying it’s “so good the album has to be balanced against it”.
West added that he originally wanted to release the album in June, but now hopes to see it come out by the end of the year at the latest.
“I hope I can get one of these songs out in the next couple of weeks, just to have something up and running. But I think most likely September. I go back and forth. Like, should it be September or should it be October? Should it be November? When Beyoncé was working on her last album, she took a while. I was thinking it could somehow come out in June, like ‘Yeezus’, and just kill it for the summer. But then I’m like, I have to work on Adidas and be with my child.”
