Lana Del Rey, Andrea Bocelli sing at Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s wedding celebrations

The couple were wed at the 16th century Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy on Saturday (May 24)

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were married yesterday (May 24) at a ceremony in Florence.

News of the wedding was confirmed by a representative of the couple to E!. In line with earlier reports, the couple were wed at Forte di Belvedere, a 16th-century fortress overlooking the Arno river. Kardashian was walked down the aisle by her stepfather Bruce Jenner to a live performance from opera singer Andrea Bocelli.

On Friday (May 23) a pre-wedding party was held at the Palace of Versailles outside of Paris, which saw a special performance from Lana Del Rey.

Meanwhile, a new song by Kanye West has been revealed as part of Adidas’s World Cup TV advertisement. ‘God Level’ features in an advert for the German sportswear brand ahead of this year’s World Cup, which begins in Brazil this June. West can be heard rapping on the song, saying: “You see sharks in the water” as footballers including Leo Messi and Luis Suarez train for the tournament.

West signed a deal with Adidas in 2013 which he claimed at the time would make him “bigger than Wal-Mart” and is due to see him release his first designs with the company later this year. The rapper appeared at the German company’s Global Brand Conference in Bamberg on April 7 where he revealed plans for his own signature shoe, which will be called the Yeezy. Kanye West released his latest album, ‘Yeezus’ in 2013 and is believed to be recording its follow up at the moment ahead of a release later this year.
