Pharrell will support the rapper at Marlay Park this summer
Kanye West has announced a one-off date at Dublin’s Marlay Park ahead of his performances at this summer’s Wireless Festival.
The show takes place on July 2, with tickets priced at €59.50 (£49) and support from Pharrell. Tickets will go onsale from Friday April 11 at 9am.
The announcement comes after the rapper put Australian and European dates on hold to focus on the follow-up to 2013’s ‘Yeezus’. Kanye had previously announced a tour which would have seen him play Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome on July 2, but that has now been postponed along with dates in France, Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Norway and Netherlands.
Kanye previously confirmed that he wants to release his new album this summer. “I haven’t named my next album, but I have started on it,” he said. “I always write down philosophies all the time, so I’ll just have some thoughts and every time I think of it I write, and I’m just collecting beats, I’m just constantly working. I’d like to put out more product, I’d like have another album out by next summer.”
Kanye will now play:
Dublin Marlay Park (July 2)
London Finsbury Park, Wireless Festival (4)
Birmingham Perry Park, Wireless Festival (6)
