US rapper appeared alongside Kings Of Leon, Drenge and Sting on last night's show (September 17)
Kanye West performed ‘Bound 2’ from his new album ‘Yeezus’ on the first in a new series of Later… With Jools Holland last night (September 17). See above to watch the performance now.
The ‘Yeezus’ rapper appeared on the BBC2 series alongside Kings Of Leon, Drenge, Sting, Lorde and Bill Medley, one half of The Righteous Brothers. He will also appear on the longer, pre-recorded Friday night episode (September 20). Playing a stripped down version of ‘Bound 2’, he was joined by Charlie Wilson of The Gap Band on vocals.
Elsewhere in the show, Drenge performed their single ‘Bloodsports’ and Kings of Leon played tracks from their new album ‘Mechanical Bull’. New Zealand teenager Lorde also made her UK TV debut. Twitter user Jonathan Dean managed to capture an image of Kanye West with Drenge, while Eoin Loveless of the bad stated that the rapper had requested a copy of their album during the chat.

Other artists confirmed to appear on ‘Later…’ over the new series include Pixies, Chvrches, Janelle Monae, Goldfrapp and Franz Ferdinand.
It was revealed earlier this week that Kanye West has enlisted Joy Division and New Order designer Peter Saville to design him a new logo. The rapper is believed to have met with Saville earlier this week to discuss what the designer describes as a “very casual” collaboration.
Kanye West released ‘Yeezus’ in June of this year, with the album subsequently debuting at Number One in the Official UK Albums Chart. Earlier this week, it was reported that the rapper had recruited Miley Cyrus to work with him on a remix of his track ‘Black Skinhead’.
