This weekend promises to be the most exciting for music in 2006 so far –and NME.COM will be there every step of the way.

We’ll be bringing you the first reports from the Coachella festival in California, where thousands of sun and music worshippers are heading to watch the likes of Kanye West (who has just announced his appearance), Depeche Mode, Madonna, Franz Ferdinand and Bloc Party.

Then there’s the Give It A Name Festival in London and Manchester, where the likes of Lostprophets and My Chemical Romance will be rocking out all weekend.
