Band play two new songs at their festival-closing set
The returning Leicester band, who also headlined RockNess in Scotland on Friday (June 10), aired new songs ‘Velociraptor!’ and ‘Switchblade Smiles’ at the show. Both are from their forthcoming fourth album, also called ‘Velociraptor!’ and set to come out this September.
“Isle Of Wight, you’re in fucking 3D!” noted typically animated frontman Tom Meighan, surveying the huge crowd – and the steam rising off the moshpit after a day of torrential rain on the site.
Kasabian were playing after Beady Eye (pictured right), who had kicked off their UK festival season on the same stage in the slot before the headliners. Kings Of Leon had headlined the Friday night of the bash, while Foo Fighters headlined the Saturday.
‘Where Did All The Love Go?’
‘Shoot The Runner’
