Two Door Cinema Club, PiL and The Script also set to play today (June 12)

Kasabian, Beady Eye and Manic Street Preachers are among those set to play the final day of the Isle Of Wight Festival 2011 today (June 12).

The three-day bash is taking place place at the Isle‘s Seaclose Park in the town of Newport. Kasabian will close the event, playing songs from their new album ‘Velociraptor!’ for the first time in front of a festival crowd. Their fourth LP is due to be released in September.

Liam Gallagher will be making his first appearance at the festival, with Beady Eye, who play the Main Stage right before Kasabian. There will also be performances on the Main Stage from The Script, Plan B, Two Door Cinema Club and Jeff Beck.

Manic Street Preachers will close the event’s Big Top Stage bill tonight, ending a day that will feature sets from Public Image Ltd., Cast, Hadouken! and Brother in the tent.
