Kasabian to play secret show

Their Leeds University gig marks a milestone

Kasabian are to become the first band to host an entirely mobile ticketed gig.

Tickets for the Leicester band’s gig at Leeds University will only be sent out to mobile phones, which will then be scanned at the door to gain access.

Mobile ticketing has previously been used at Guns N’ Roses’ London Hammersmith Apollo show earlier this year, but this is the first gig where no paper tickets have been issued.

Kasabian play Leeds University Student Union on December 10. Go to ticketrush.co.uk/nokia to try and get a ticket.

The date comes during their massive UK winter tour, which calls at:

Leicester De Montfort Hall (December 5/6)

Glasgow SECC (7)

Manchester Evening News Arena (11)

Cardiff International Arena (12)

Birmingham NEC Arena (14)

Nottingham Arena (15)

Brighton Centre (16)
