Oxfordshire’s Truck Festival has banned the controversial Katie Hopkins from attending this year’s festival.
The festival, who announced their line-up featuring George Ezra and Friendly Fires this week, have listed Hopkins among their ‘prohibited items’ list on their website.
Alongside the usual likes of glass, pyrotechnics and selfie-sticks, Hopkins is also forbidden “due to her vile and horrendous opinions that Truck Festival wholeheartedly disagree with”.
Nominated as ‘Villain Of The Year’ at the 2018 VO5 NME Awards, Hopkins often causes upset among the masses due to her extreme views regarding race, migration, class and illness.
This comes after Manchester’s Parklife Festival banned potato peelers from this year’s event, due to headliner Liam Gallagher’s continued feud with brother Noel.
