The song comes from her forthcoming second album 'Little Red'
Katy B has unveiled the video for her single, ‘Crying For No Reason’.
Click above to watch the video for the electro-ballad, which comes from her second album ‘Little Red’, released on February 3, 2014. It follows her 2011 debut ‘On A Mission’. In addition to ‘Crying For No Reason’ and ‘5 AM’, Katy B’s collaboration with Jessie Ware, ‘Aaliyah’, which was first heard on 2012’s ‘Danger’ EP, features on the album as does a new track with Sampha titled ‘Play’. Producers on the album include George FitzGerald, Jacques Greene, Joker, Route 94 and Artwork.
Speaking about ‘Little Red’ earlier this year, she revealed it would be “a bit more… this is real life”. She added: “There are still going to be lots of songs about me and my little adventures around London, but then at the same time I’ve had experiences in love and life that have been about this period of my life.”
Katy B recently covered the festive classic, ‘Sleigh Ride’. Scroll down to listen to her take on Phil Spector produced The Ronettes track. Katy B’s version was recorded for Rob da Bank’s Christmas Party, which was broadcast on BBC Radio 1.
Katy B will play a series of gigs in the UK next year, including a homecoming show at KOKO in Camden on March 26, 2014. Starting in Brighton on March 25, the short tour will conclude in Manchester on March 29.
