'Obvious first time burner alert,' the singer joked
Katy Perry attended Burning Man festival over the weekend, uploading a clip of herself attempting to ride a Segway.
Burning Man is an art and community-centric event that culminates in the burning of a human-shaped effigy. It takes place every year in the Black Rock Desert in Nevada.
Perry uploaded the video to Instagram, along with the caption, “Obvious first time burner alert.” Watch the clip below.
The pop singer also shared a video of her father jokingly teaching her how to ride a Segway. You can watch that clip beneath also.
Perry has recently been embroiled in an ongoing property dispute with a group of nuns. Perry thought that she would be able to buy the former convent from the archdiocese of Los Angeles, run by Archbishop Jose Gomez, for $14.5 million (£9.3 million). But the five nuns who live in the property say that Perry would be an unsuitable owner and want to sell it to businesswoman Dana Hollister instead.
Last week, Katy Perry denied that she sent an explicit text to a fan’s ex-boyfriend. The viral message was later confirmed to be a hoax.
