NME.COM KEANE TO UNVEIL NEW TRACK

And it's all for the War Child charity...

NME.COM will be unveiling a brand new Keane recording which is set to raise funds for the charity WAR CHILD.

The track, a version of the Walker Brothers classic ‘The Sun Ain’t Gonna Shine Anymore’, will be aired for the first time anywhere in the world on NME.COM on Wednesday, September 8, a day before it goes on sale on War Child’s music download site, [url=]warchildmusic.com.

The cover version came about as a result of an NME.COM poll where users voted for the song they’d most like the band to cover.

The overwhelming winner was ‘The Sun Ain’t Gonna Shine Anymore’, which was a number one hit for the Walker Brothers in 1966.

The song is set to launch [url=]warchild.com’s monthly download service on Thursday, September 9. The site will offer exclusive tracks for 99p with the proceeds going directly to help the charity’s relief work in some of the world’s most inhospitable regions.
