Kendrick Lamar says he saw a UFO but nobody believes him

Rapper tells Howard Stern about incident when he was 6 years old

Kendrick Lamar claims to have witnessed a UFO when he was younger, but says that “nobody believed me then and [nobody] believes me now”.

The rapper was speaking on Howard Stern’s Sirius XM show when he recalled how he saw something in the sky when he was six years old that looked like “a dart go past”.

“I probably shouldn’t even be talking about it… [but] I’m going to stand my ground,” Kendrick said. “Nobody believed me then and [nobody] believe me now. It’s just something I can’t really describe, because it just sounds like, ‘Okay, you just saw a dart go past.’ That shit don’t make sense… It was just a surreal moment.”

When Stern’s co-host Robin Quivers asked if Lamar had been abducted, he joked: “I probably did. That’s probably why I’m doing music right now. Who knows. They probably gave me the energy.”

Lamar previously discussed the incident on JoJo Wright’s radio show in 2014, saying at the time: “I’ve seen ghosts before, for sure. I’ve seen UFOs too.”

Of the alleged UFO encounter, he said: “I seen that when I was six years old, my mother still don’t believe me. We was in Compton, we was on our little balcony on the stairway, she was sitting, drinking her little champagne or wine, I’ll never forget it. And just a dart, a flash – just ch-ch-ch-ch – not the flash like it’s a shooting star, multiple flashes was in the sky. I’ll never forget that, and that was my encounter, and still to this day, I know there is something else out there.”

“Man, they still don’t believe me, I hope you’ll be the first to believe me,” Lamar added.

Elsewhere in his Howard Stern interview, Kendrick discussed what it was like working with Taylor Swift on ‘Bad Blood’, saying that the “vibe was right”.
