Kid Rock for New York club show benefit

Event will take place September 2 in New York

Kid Rock is set to play an intimate show in New York City to benefit the Institute for Music and Neurologic Function.

The event will take place on September 2 at Terminal 5, and is called Music Has Power. The IMNF is involved in innovative music therapy treatments and research and is a nonprofit agency founded on the idea that music has unique powers to heal, rehabilitate and inspire, using music therapy to restore and improve physical, emotional, and neurological health.

Previous Music Has Power events have featured appearances and performances by Beastie Boys, Chris Martin, Moby, B-52’s, Rufus Wainwright and more.

Tickets will be made available to the general public on Saturday, August 8 at noon at Ticketmaster.com, by calling 800-745-3000 and at the Mercury Lounge and Music Hall Of Williamsburg box offices.
