KID ROCK is to pay tribute to his late cohort JOE C, who died in November, at his forthcoming tour.
At the American Music Awards on Monday (8 January), Kid Rock presented the memorial to those who had died in the world of music, including his sidekick Joeseph Calleja, who died aged 26 after a lifetime battle Coeliac Disease.
Now, admitting it wil be “tough” performing without him, he told [url=]www.sonicnet.com: “We’re going to do a nice tribute to him every night and try not to be selfish about it. The first few shows are going to be tough playing without him, trying to get through some of the slow songs. You know, I sang a song for him at his funeral, ‘Only God Knows Why’, and that was pretty tough, and doing that every night is going to pretty much suck.”
Rock, who also picked up award for top Male Artist on Monday, hits the road with the Twisted Brown Trucker Band on:
