Canadian singer contributed vocals on unnamed track

Kiesza has recorded a new song with Duran Duran, describing the experience of working with the British pop group as “amazing”.

In an interview with Billboard, the 26-year-old ‘Sound Of A Woman’ artist revealed she contributed vocals to the currently untitled track, but did not give out any further details.

“I did a song with Duran Duran recently,” said Kiesza. “They never officially named it yet. I did write a little bit on it and I’m singing on it. That was amazing.”

The Kiesza collaboration may appear on Duran Duran’s forthcoming new album. Lindsay Lohan will also sing on the LP after the Mean Girls star and her sister, Ali, joined group members Simon Le Bon and Nick Rhodes in a London studio in December.

Lohan posted a photo of herself and Ali with the band on Instagram, writing “Recording with some greats!!!” She is believed to have spent almost seven hours in the studio to perfect her contribution.

Kiesza – real name Kiesa Ellestad – was among the big winners at this year’s Juno Awards in Canada on Sunday (March 15). The singer, who scored an international number one hit with ‘Hideaway’ in 2014, was named Breakthrough Artist Of The Year at Canada’s top music awards. She also won Dance Recording Of The Year for ‘Sound Of A Woman’ and Video Of The Year for ‘Hideaway’.

Single Of The Year went to Toronto group Magic! for ‘Rude’, which beat ‘Hideaway’ and Drake’s ‘Hold On, We’re Going Home’.
