Kim Kardashian angers Taylor Swift’s fans after posting photo of controversial nude waxwork

"This is why we can't have nice things"

Kim Kardashian has faced the wrath of Taylor Swift fans after sharing a photo from Kanye West‘s art exhibit, which showed a wax recreation of him in bed with the singer.

In the photo, taken at Kanye’s ‘famous’ exhibition, Kardashian is seen taking a photo of the waxworks – with Taylor’s naked waxwork featuring in the corner of the snap.

But the move didn’t go unnoticed by Swift’s legions of fans – who promptly flooded Kardashian’s Instagram with rat emojis.

Gawd, she needs to get a life. No talent, just a fake plastic rat. I wish she would fade into reality TV oblivion”, one wrote.

Referencing Taylor’s music, another said: “This is why we can’t have nice things”.

The post comes after the fall-out surrounding ‘Famous, the track which featured on Kanye’s ‘The Life Of Pablo’ album.

It made headlines upon its release with the lyric: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / I made that bitch famous”. The line refer to the infamous incident when West interrupted Swift’s acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV VMAs. West initially claimed that he had asked for Taylor’s approval of the lyric before releasing the track and that she gave her blessing.

Swift later denied this and appeared to subtly refer to West’s lyrics during her acceptance speech at the Grammy Awards in February 2016  saying: “I want to say to all the young women out there [that] there are going to be people along the way who are going to try and undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame.”

Kardashian later posted footage to Snapchat which showed West talking to Swift on the phone. During the conversation, West recites the lyric “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex”  but not the following line “I made that bitch famous”. Swift calls the “sex” line “dope” and says that she “really appreciate[s] you telling me about it”.
