The band had 'an amazing night' at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater
Kings Of Leon thanked Missouri’s bird life for a mercifully dry show in St Louis last night, having returned to the scene of the 2010 gig where they were forced to leave the stage because they were being pelted with pigeon poo.
The US rockers returned to the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater last night (July 31).
Beforehand, bassist Jared Followill revealed that he was being teased by friends before the show. One texted a picture of a pigeon with the words, “They are coming for you”.
After the show, drummer Nathan Followill tweeted his appreciation. He wrote: “Thank you St Louis for an amazing night & thank you pigeons for a shit free show. Catch y’all on the flip side.”
