KITTIE GET SET TO PAGE THE ORACLE

The band are set to begin recording 'Oracle' in July...

KITTIE are set to go in the studio later this summer

to record the follow-up to ‘SPIT’.

The Canadian quartet are booked in a Vancouver studio from

July 21 until August 14, where they will lay down tracks for new LP

‘Oracle’ with Garth Richardson, who produced the

group’s last effort.

As previously reported on NME.COM, the new effort is

expected to sound more aggressive and is tipped to include tracks

‘Pain’ and ‘Mouth Full Of Poison’.

A single is expected before Christmas, with the full-length album following

in early 2002.

In other Kittie news, a spokesperson for the band said they

are in the process of tentatively scheduling some headlining European dates for

September.
