A concert video of the star falls foul of the country's strict censorship regulations...
A Kylie Minogue video has been banned in MALAYSIA.
The film, which is a recording of the Australian pop star recorded live in Sydney, is one of 194 videos banned by the Malaysian Film Censorship Board – notorious for its strict censorship regulations.
No official reason for its banning has been given, although board chairman Shaari Mohd Noor told Reuters that guidelines stated that distribution of films containing “bad morals” were not allowed.
He said: “We imposed the ban after viewing thousands of titles over the last five months.”
As recently reported on NME.COM, Megadeth were banned from performing in the country and their new album ‘The World Needs A Hero’ removed from record store shelves after the country’s government branded their imagery unsuitable.
