MINOGUE is suing CLEO magazine for breach of copyright after
the magazine used her photograph, without permission, in a promotion for TOMMY
claim, lodged in the Australian Federal Court, says that the magazine had permission to
use a photograph in conjunction with a competition to win concert tickets but that there
was no permission to associate her with the perfume.
According to Ananova, Minogue
is seeking damages from the companies concerned, as well as the destruction of any
remaining pages and a public apology for the distress caused.
