Singer's 'artRave' event will kick off at 4.30am GMT this Monday (November 11)
Lady Gaga‘s ‘ARTPOP’ album launch gig next week is to be live-streamed on Vevo.
Vevo has secured exclusive rights to stream the singer’s ‘artRave’ event, which begins at 4.30am GMT on Monday (November 11). The event, a combination of concert and release party, will take place at a “top-secret location” in New York and include a live set from Gaga feature all new songs from her forthcoming ‘ARTPOP’ album.
The event will also include the unveiling of an exhibition of art works Lady Gaga has helped to create with the likes of Jeff Koons and Marina Abramovic. The sculpture Koons created for the singer’s ‘ARTPOP’ album cover will finally be revealed as the exhibition’s centrepiece.
‘ARTPOP’ will be released in the UK on the day of the ‘artRave’ event: November 11. A string of tracks including the piano-led, Rick Rubin-produced ballad ‘Dope’, ‘Mary Jane Holland’, the R Kelly collaboration ‘Do What U Want’ and singles ‘Applause’ and Venus’ have already been revealed by the singer.
Meanwhile, it has recently been reported that Lady Gaga will become the first performer to sing in space. Gaga has said that fans will “find out if the rumours are true” during the ‘artRave’ event on Monday (November 11).
