The latest track from the singer's 'ARTPOP' album was performed at a launch party in Berlin
Lady Gaga debuted a new song ‘Gypsy’ live in Berlin yesterday (October 24).
The popstar was in Germany for the first public playback of her new album ‘ARTPOP’ at the city’s Berghain club, famous for its hedonistic parties and strict door policy. The playback was held in the Halle am Berghain, a room in the former power plant that the venue’s owners occasionally open up for concerts, exhibitions, and other events.
Prior to the playback, Gaga played live at an album launch party in the city, which was filmed for German television. Speaking prior to playing ‘Gypsy’ behind the piano, Gaga said: “I wrote this song when I was travelling around the world. They say that a gypsy doesn’t have a home but I have a home with you always.” See above to watch the performance in full.
‘ARTPOP’ is released on November 11 and will include the single ‘Applause’ as well as appearances by rappers TI, Twista and Too $hort on a track called ‘Jewels N’ Drugs’. Other song titles on the album include ‘Sexxx Dreams’, ‘Donatella’, ‘Swine’ and ‘Fashion!’.
The ‘ARTPOP’ tracklisting is as follows:
‘GUY (Girl Under You)’
‘Jewels N’ Drugs’ (feat. TI, Too $hort, and Twista)
‘Do What U Want’ (feat. R Kelly)
‘Mary Jane Holland’
‘Dope (Formerly I Wanna Be With You)’
