Singer will team up with rapper Kendrick Lamar on new track

Lady Gaga has announced that she will be releasing a new single titled ‘Partynauseous’ next month.

The track is a collaboration with rapper and will be released on September 6. It has been lifted from Lamar’s major label debut album ‘good kid, m.A.A.d city’.

As is her custom, the singer announced the collaboration over Twitter, writing: “I am so excited to announce that a record I’ve been working on has now become a collaboration with Kendrick Lamar for his album.”

She continued: “Kendrick Lamar and I are dropping the record September 6. It’s called ‘Partynauseous’.”

It had previously been rumoured that Gaga and Kendrick Lamar had also recorded a track with Eminem, but the rapper’s manager Paul Rosenberg has denied, saying an interview which Eminem gave to MTV Rapfix was a fake.

Last week, Lady Gaga announced that her third studio album will be titled ‘ARTPOP’.

The singer, who is expected to release the album in early 2013, tweeted the title of her new LP over the weekend via a new tattoo on her upper arm.

Writing about ‘ARTPOP’, the singer said that the title must all be written in capital letters and described it as an “album/project”. She wrote: “Make sure when writing about my new album/project ARTPOP that you CAPITALIZE the title it’s all in the details.”

Gaga is currently in the middle of her ‘Born This Way’ ball world tour, which features 110 dates in all. The tour’s European leg will begin again in Sofia, Bulgaria on August 14, before making its way to the UK for a pair of dates at Twickenham on September 8 and 9 and a third show at the Manchester Arena on September 11.
