Lady Gaga extends ‘Born This Way Ball’ UK tour

Singer schedules a second date at London's Twickenham stadium

Lady Gaga has announced a second show at London’s Twickenham Stadium for the autumn.

The singer, who was already scheduled to perform at the 60,000 capacity venue on September 8, will now play the following day too.

Gaga, who is touring Europe as part of her ‘Born This Way Ball’ tour, will also play Manchester’s Evening News Arena on September 11 and a one-off date in Ireland at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium four days later.

Support on all four dates will come from The Darkness and Lady Starlight. Tickets for the new show at Twickenham go on sale this Friday (April 20) at 9am.

Speaking about the shows, the flamboyant singer said: “The Haus of Gaga and I have worked for months conceiving a spectacular stage. The ‘Born This Way Ball’ is an electro-metal pop-opera; the tale of the beginning, the genesis of the Kingdom of Fame. How we were birthed and how we will die celebrating.”

The shows are part of a global tour which kicks off at Seoul Olympic Stadium on April 27, before coming to Europe later in the summer.
