Florence + The Machine, MGMT, Gorillaz also nominated
The awards, which take place on September 12 at Los Angeles‘ Nokia Theatre, will see the singer go up against the likes of Eminem and Jay-Z in several of the categories, including Video Of The Year (for ‘Bad Romance’ and ‘Telephone’), Best Cinematography and Best Direction.
As well as her 13 solo nominations, Lady Gaga is nominated a further five times for collaborations.
Meanwhile, Florence And The Machine received five nominations including Video Of The Year for ‘Dog Days Are Over’, while acts including MGMT, Mumford and Sons, Gorillaz, Muse and Broken Bells are also up for awards.
