Upcoming record 'Cheek to Cheek' will feature a variety of jazz standards

The album is due for release on September 23 and will feature many jazz standards including ‘It Don’t Mean A Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing)’, ‘Sophisticated Lady’, ‘Lush Life’, and the album’s title track ‘Cheek To Cheek’ among others.
“‘Cheek To Cheek’ came out of a very organic friendship and relationship that Tony and I have built over the years and it truly was a collaborative effort,” said Gaga in a statement. “It was important to Tony that this was a jazz record. I’ve been singing jazz since I was a child and really wanted to show the authentic side of the genre. We made an album of jazz classics, but it has a modern twist.”
Gaga had previously worked with Bennett on his 2011 ‘Duets II’ album, recording a version of “The Lady Is a Tramp”.
In June, the pair made a surprise appearance at the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts in New York City, giving students a short performance and masterclass.
