Babymetal will join the pop star on five dates Stateside this summer
A teenage metal band from Japan are set to support Lady Gaga on her upcoming US tour dates.
Babymetal will open up for the singer at five shows at the end of July and August in the States, reports Kerrang. The band, made up of Su-metal, 16, Moametal, 14, and Yuimetal, 14, will make their UK debut at Sonisphere next month.
Meanwhile, Lady Gaga has added four extra dates to the UK leg of her current world tour. The tour, titled ArtRAVE: The Artpop Ball, is due to arrive in the UK in October and Gaga has added extra arena shows in Birmingham, Sheffield, Newcastle and Glasgow following huge demand for tickets.
The new dates take place at Birmingham’s NIA Arena on November 13 before moving onto Glasgow SSE Hydro on November 16, Sheffield Motorpoint Arena on November 20 and Newcastle Metro Radio Arena two days later.
