The Korean band will join the singer on seven dates on her US tour this summer

Lady Gaga has announced K-Pop group Crayon Pop will support her on a handful of dates during her the US leg of her artRAVE tour later this year, according to Gigwise.

The Korean group had a viral hit in 2013 with their song ‘Bar Bar Bar’ but told Billboard in the wake of its success last summer they had no plans to tour internationally. Gaga broke the announcement on Twitter, stating she was “excited” to be joined by the band, who will join her from June 26-July 22 in Milwaukee, Boston, Toronto, Chicago, Houston and Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, Gaga revealed her stage plans for her artRAVE tour earlier this week. The tour hits Britain in October and Gaga shared plans for the elaborate stage layout via her Twitter page last night. The singer posted a picture of the stage with an extensive runway which extends out in front of the traditional stage and down two separate paths.

Discussing the staging, Gaga revealed: “The stage is lucite and you can just dance underneath the runways,” and wrote a message to her fans stating: “I can’t wait to be with u every night on the road. You’ve brought me back to life, hope u like the stage!”

Lady Gaga will play:

Birmingham NIA (October 15)
Dublin O2 Arena (17)
Glasgow Hydro (19)
Manchester Phones 4U Arena (21)
London O2 Arena (23, 25, 26)
