Lady Gaga releases new video for ‘Million Reasons’

Taken from her latest album 'Joanne'

Lady Gaga has released the video for latest single ‘Million Reasons’. Taken from her album ‘Joanne’, it follows first single ‘Perfect Illusion’.

Tame Impala frontman Kevin Parker and Mark Ronson worked with Lady Gaga on the album, with Parker previously commenting; “There was no fear, I knew the project was in good hands with Mark.”

The video for ‘Million Reasons’ picks up right where her video for ‘Perfect Illusion’ ended. It features Gaga having a breakdown in the desert before she finds solace in her friends, and later performs in a pink pantsuit and the pink hat from her album cover. You can watch it below.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga has agreed to an interview with Piers Morgan following his controversial comments about PTSD in which he described himself as “sceptical” about Gaga and Madonna’s claims of being victims of sexual assault.

Gaga recently posted a powerful open letter about suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, in which she described her suffering from the condition as a “daily effort” and urged others to “overcome their shame” that is usually associated with mental health problems. She had previously opened up about being raped as a teenager. In 2013, Madonna wrote about being raped at knifepoint in a magazine article.

Writing on Twitter at the weekend (December 10), Morgan said that it “angers” him when celebrities “claim PTSD about everything to promote themselves” because he comes from a “big military family”, describing it as “the latest celebrity accessory”. He also said that he “wouldn’t automatically believe anything either Madonna or Lady Gaga claimed about their lives”.
