Song isn't thought to be in the running for singer's 'Ultraviolence' album
A new Lana Del Rey track titled ‘Meet Me In The Pale Moonlight’ has leaked online.
The track is thought to have been recorded during the sessions for her forthcoming new album ‘Ultraviolence’, but will not be included on the album’s final tracklisting. You can listen to the song below.
There has been much speculation about the release of ‘Ultraviolence’, which will be the follow-up to Del Rey’s 2012 album ‘Born To Die’. She had previously mentioned an album release date of May 1 in conversation with fans, but so far there has been no official announcement of the release date or tracklisting.
The ‘Video Games’ singer let the May 1 date slip when stopped by US fans in the street to sign autographs. Watch footage of it here. Speaking previously about the new record, Del Rey said: “It’s so good that it made me forget about the last record. I’m in love with it. I have that romantic feeling about it.”
The singer is set to play a slew of US tour dates in May and June, and has also confirmed that she will play at this year’s Glastonbury festival.
