Tourdates suggest album number two will be released in spring

Lana Del Rey has announced a series of US live dates in April and May.

The scheduling fuels speculation about the release date of her forthcoming second album, ‘Ultraviolence’.

Del Rey previously mentioned an album release date of May 1 in conversation with fans, which would place it towards the middle of the tour. There has thus far been no official announcement of the release date or tracklisting.

The ‘Video Games’ singer let the May 1 date slip when stopped by US fans in the street to sign autographs. Watch footage of it here.

Speaking about the new record, Del Rey added: “It’s so good that it made me forget about the last record. I’m in love with it. I have that romantic feeling about it.”
