Lana Del Rey has spoken about her next album ‘Ultraviolence’, assuring fans that they will love the finished record.
Del Rey fielded questions about the album in a Q&A on Twitter, reports MTV.
Asked about her forthcoming second album, Del Rey wrote: “The record is finished and it’s beautiful. And don’t worry you will love Ultra – it’s so wrong and exquisite.”
It is absolutely gorgeous – darker then the first – so dark it’s almost unlistenable and wrong. But I love it. X
Del Rey revealed that her second album will be titled ‘Ultraviolence’ at the launch event for her short film Tropico last year. Appearing onstage at a screening of Tropico at Hollywood’s Cinerama Dome, Del Rey told fans: “I really just wanted us all to be together so I could visually close the chapter before I release my new album, ‘Ultraviolence’.”
Earlier this week, Lana Del Rey revealed new song ‘Once Upon A Dream’, the theme song from the soundtrack to the new Disney film Maleficient. The song can be heard above and downloaded for free via Google Play.
