Song includes lines such as 'You're looking like a man, you're talking like a baby'

A Lana Del Rey song has surfaced online which appears to include lyrics aimed at Lady Gaga.

The track, titled ‘So Legit’, may well be an old demo or even from the period when Del Rey was recording under her real name Lizzy Grant. Del Rey’s representatives are yet to confirm whether it is legitimate.

The lyrics caught the attention of Gaga’s fans when it surfaced online last night (July 23) due to lyrics including: “Stefani, you suck, I know you’re selling 20 million, Wish they could have seen you when we booed you off in Williamsburg.” Lady Gaga’s real name is Stefani Germanotta. Elsewhere on the track is the line: “You’re looking like a man, you’re talking like a baby.” Click above to hear ‘So Legit’ now.

Later on in the song, Del Rey is heard singing: “Oh, girl, I see you walking round in your pearls, thinking that you’re number one, you’re so funny, cos honey, you’re not.” Another line asks, “Have we all gone Gaga crazy?

A number of demo tracks and songs which did not make it to Del Rey’s debut album ‘Born To Die’ have surfaced online since its release in 2012. Most recently, new song ‘Black Beauty’, thought to be from her forthcoming second album, leaked online. Del Rey revealed that her forthcoming second album will be a more “spiritual” affair, stripped down but still “cinematic and dark”.

The new songs follow Del Rey’s contribution to the soundtrack for The Great Gatsby ‘Young & Beautiful’ and her duet with boyfriend Barrie-James O’Neill of Scottish rockers Kassidy on Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazlewood‘s 1967 track ‘Summer Wine’.
