'Ridin'' no longer features on The Kickdrums' new offering 'Follow The Leaders'
The track has been removed because A$AP Rocky apparently wants to keep the song, called ‘Ridin” for his own album, according to Pitchfork. The Kickdrums, who produced the ‘Follow The Leaders’ mixtape – which is out today – Tweeted the news. They wrote:
Listen to The Kickdrums’ mixtape, without ‘Ridin”, below. The release features an appearance from DZ Deathrays on a track called ‘Want My Blood’.
As well as working with hip-hopper A$AP Rocky, this weekend Lana Del Rey and Odd Future’s Tyler, The Creator hinted that they will work together in the future. The pair both took to their official Twitter pages expressing an interest in working with each other, with Tyler writing: “Just Found Out Lana Del Rey Wanted To Work With Me. Had No Idea. If Your Reading This Im Down, I Have Pretty Instrumentals”. Del Rey then later replied and told the rapper he was “Number 1” in her eyes.
The ‘Video Games’ singer is due to play at this year’s Latitude Festival over the weekend of July 12–15 in Suffolk‘s Henham Park, along with the Isle Of Wight Festival and Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Hackney.
