Obsessed Lana Del Rey fan arrested after reportedly camping in singer’s garage

The incident allegedly took place on Monday (November 30)

A fan has been arrested following an incident at the home of Lana Del Rey earlier this week.

Entertainment Tonight reports that a 19-year-old white male was arrested on Monday (November 30) after camping in the garage of the singer’s house in Malibu, California.

A local detective told ET that the individual was spotted by a construction worker before he could make contact with the star.

Reports continue to say that the man believed he had a “spiritual connection” with Del Rey, but that there was “no threat of violence”.

“Based on ramblings in his [laptop] notes, he was clearly infatuated with Lana,” the detective is quoted as saying.

Lana Del Rey has not yet commented on the matter.

Earlier this year, it was reported by TMZ that Lana Del Rey moved to her secluded Malibu property to avoid obsessive fans who would visit her previous residence.

Meanwhile, Lana Del Rey’s ex-boyfriend Barrie-James O’Neill, formerly of the band Kassidy, recently alleged that the singer failed to inform him of their split last year and that he instead learned they had broken up via an interview.

O’Neill told The Scottish Sun that the first he heard of the news was a text from his cousin which said: “Sorry that you and the missus have broken up.”

“I was like ‘That’s news to me – where did you hear that?’ And it was on this website. I’m thinking it’s a load of shit and gossip. But it wasn’t. That’s how I found out.”
