Meanwhile, Lana Del Rey has reportedly recruited the services of Mark Ronson for her next album. The singer is currently working on her follow-up to 2014’s ‘Ultraviolence’, thought to be called ‘Honeymoon’, with Ronson revealing news of his involvement to Interview Magazine.

Ronson said: “I’m going to do some recording with Lana Del Rey today and tomorrow. I found this cool old studio out here [in Los Angeles]”. The musician/producer added: “She has some songs and I said I had some demo ideas, and if they are any good, then maybe she’ll like them and we’ll go from there.”

Reports previously stated that Del Rey has written nine tracks for her next album already, which she says will be “very different” to last year’s ‘Ultraviolence’. “I’m looking for a few more songs to tie everything together,” she told Billboard.

The record is thought to include a cover of the Nina Simone version of ‘Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood’.

It was recently announced that Lana Del Rey will tour the US and Canada with Grimes. The stint will see Grimes opening for the singer on her ‘Endless Summer Tour’ during May and June. They’ll play dates in Chicago, Toronto, Detroit and other major cities.
