He made "credible" threats towards the singer on social media.

A man has been arrested outside a Lana Del Rey gig, and charged with attempted kidnapping.

43-year-old Michael Hunt from Florida was intercepted outside the singer’s Amway Center show in Orlando on Friday night (February 2), after the police received a tip about a potential kidnapping.

The man was carrying a knife, according to a tweet from the City of Orlando Police Department.

‘OPD Detectives considered the information a credible threat and took invesigative measure to locare Hunt,’ the police’s statement read.

‘OPD officers came into conatct with Hunt and Hughey Avenue and Central Boulevard on Friday evening, one block from the Amway Center.

‘When he was taken into custody, Hunt was in possession of tickets to the Lana Del Rey performacne and a knife. At no time was he able to make contact with Ms. Grant.’

The man is currently being held at the Orange County jail on no bond, with charges of aggravated stalking with a credible threat, and attempted kidnapping with a weapon.

Police say Hunt made “cryptic and threatening” threats on social media towards the singer, and according to the Orlando Sentinel, Hunt made several posts on what appears to be his personal Facebook page in the days leading up the concert.

“I want to see my queen on Friday and from that day forward our decisions will be as one,” Hunt allegedly wrote on Jan 30.

In a video on the social media platform her says: “I’m going to probably finish out her tour with her, obviously, and dance and talk and figure out what we’re going to do,” while a friend congratulates him a separate post.

“Wow, I’m so happy for you Michael Hunt. I hope she makes you happy when you finally stalk her down and get your hands on her!” she wrote.

Del Rey has since spoken out on Twitter about the incident, writing: “Hey kiddos. I’m doing fine thanks for the messages. And tomorrow we’ll be in Hotlanta can’t wait to see everyone. Yachty that means u.”

This isn’t the first time Del Rey has had to deal with a stalker – in January 16, a fan was jailed for breaking into the singer’s home and posting pictures of himself on social media on her balcony.

That same month, Lana won a restraining order against two Russian fans who threatened her.

In December 2015, a fan was arrested for stealing two of her cars, while just days earlier another fan was caught sleeping in the singer’s garage.
