The track is a cover of Jacques Dutronc

The Last Shadow Puppets have unveiled the new video for ‘Les Cactus’ – a cover of Jacques Dutronc.

Taken from their upcoming ‘Dream Synopsis’ EP, ‘Les Cactus’ follows Alex Turner and Miles Kane’s cover of Leonard Cohen’s classic ‘Is This What You Wanted’.

The new video sees the duo deliver an impassioned performance of the French rocker’s staple – accompanied by an orchestra and some questionable dancing from the Arctic Monkeys‘ frontman.

This comes after Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker praised The Last Shadow Puppets’ tribute track to the band, saying that ‘There’s A Storm Coming’ was ‘very sweet’.

Alex Turner has previously suggested that The Last Shadow Puppets might release one, maybe even two, more albums in the future.

Arctic Monkeys frontman Turner previously told NME that that he and Kane intended on releasing a trilogy of albums, but now he’s hinted that they may end up extending it to a fourth release.

“We’re either going to make it a trilogy or a four-part drama,” Turner later told Chris Evans on the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show. “I haven’t decided yet.”
