Liam Gallagher reveals the one thing that is stopping Noel from reforming Oasis

It's quite a surprise....

Liam Gallagher has said that brother Noel is ‘desperate’ to reform Oasis – but his wife is stopping the warring siblings from joining forces once more.

In a new interview with Q Magazine, Liam claimed that Noel’s return to Oasis is being stopped by his wife Sara McDonald.

The ‘As You Were’ singer, 45, said: “He’s desperate to get Oasis back but he knows he’s crossed that bridge.

“And he’s not allowed to, his missus won’t let him now. Cos she’s another one.”

“I know for a fact, deep down, he wants to be playing stadiums… You can only play stadiums when I’m there”, Liam added.

“I don’t think our kid’s got it in him anymore, anyway. It seems to me like he’s playing to the snobs and the world and the toffs.”

Despite the claims, Noel threw cold water over a reunion last year, saying that it would “kill him as a person.”

Last December, Oasis fans began holding out hope that a reunion may be on the cards after Liam claimed that he was meeting with Noel for a festive get together.

But it seems that any hope of peace between the two was shattered last week after Liam criticised Noel’s comments about songwriting teams.

“Dig me out all day long rkid but Richard Ashcroft pisses all over you and the 2 Ronnie’s every day of the wk as you were LG x”, he wrote on Twitter.

He also hit out at Noel’s recent support spots for the likes of Red Hot Chili Peppers and U2, describing them as “undignified.”
