Liam Gallagher has said that he wants the Irish boxer/MMA fighter Conor McGregor to star in his next music video.
The former Oasis frontman took to Twitter to praise McGregor’s documentary Notorious, which details the boxer’s early life and rise to multiple UFC winner.
Gallagher posted: “I’ve just watched your film Conor McGregor biblical I want you to be in my new music video as you were LG x”

As we’ve already had five singles from debut album ‘As You Were’, talks of a new music video could suggest that his confirmed “biblical” second record is coming soon.
Earlier this month, LG said that he’s started work on his next LP. The release will see him continue to work with Greg Kurstin and Andrew Wyatt, who helped write and produce the first solo effort.
Speaking to NME earlier this year, Gallagher gave a few hints on what to expect from his new album.
“I’d love to do a proper out-and-out punk rock album – a bit Pistols, a bit Stooges,” he said. “I can do that gear; I can definitely sing ’em. Some of the sing-y songs are a bit of a struggle when I do ’em live. But the lippy ones I can do all day long. The ones where you spit ’em out. You’re not necessarily singing, you’re just f**king screaming and shouting. I’m all for that.”
Gallagher went on to say that he just wants to make “good music” and isn’t looking to “reinvent the wheel”.
“I don’t want to do cosmic pop. I don’t want to make grime music. I want to make good music with a rock ‘n’ roll vibe.”
