'Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5' out on October 2

Lil Wayne appeared on US TV’s Conan on Wednesday night (September 23), playing the new Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater video game with skateboarder Tony Hawk himself.

The latest addition to the popular franchise, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 will be released on October 2 on Playstation 4 and Xbox One and in November for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. It’s the 10th game in the series, the first since 2007’s Proving Ground and the sequel to 2002’s Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4.

Rapper Wayne – a keen skater – is a character in the game himself and joined both Hawk and host Conan O’Brien to test out the game. Watch footage below.

A press release for the game reads: “Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 reignites the classic style and gameplay of the Pro Skater series with new levels and seamless online multiplayer. Unlock new content, level up and take on rivals in head-to-head, high-score battles by jumping instantly in and out of online shred sessions that support up 20 skaters at the same time. Players can also create their own skateparks to share online with the community.”
