Lil Wayne records ’90 songs’ with Dr Dre

Rapper also reveals Kanye West will feature on new album

Lil Wayne has revealed that he has recorded close to 100 tracks with Dr Dre, all unheard by the public.

The Young Money rapper, who is responsible for the careers of both Drake and Nicki Minaj, made the revelation of his working relationship with Dre during a new interview with MTV News, explaining to the publication that the pair are ‘always working’ as well as adding a bit about Dre’s work habits in the process.

I’ve always worked with Dre. I’m not sure if you guys know how Dre works, Dre always sends you a song, so I done, probably did like 90 songs for Dre. You just never know which one he gonna put out.

Weezy also told MTV about his new studio album, which he claims will feature an appearance from Kanye West, saying: “It’s crazy, actually I don’t want to give too much up but he’s got a big hand in the album, you’ll see.”

Earlier this week 50 Cent shared his belief that Dr Dre’s long awaited album ‘Detox’ may only surface as an EP given Dre’s various business and TV ventures.

Lil Wayne will release his new solo album, ‘I Am Not A Human Being II’ in December.
