Speaking about ‘Devol’, which is to be pronounced ‘Devil’, Lil Wayne said: “What I mean by my version of love songs is meaning they’re not saying, ‘I love you’. It’s all material I did when I was locked up.”

Asked about the title, the Cash Money rapper told MTV News that it was ‘loved’ spelt backwards and indicated that the tracks were his own take on love songs. He said of this: “That’s ‘loved’ spelled backwards, and it’s my version of love songs.”

Lil Wayne is also planning to release a memoir documenting his time in prison, which is titled ‘Gone Till November’, on November 28 this year.
