Lily Allen says new song ‘Something’s Not Right’ was written about miscarriage

Track features in new film 'Pan'

Lily Allen has revealed how a song she contributed to the Pan movie soundtrack was written about a miscarriage she suffered in 2010.

Allen recorded ‘Little Soldier’ and ‘Something’s Not Right’ for the movie, which stars Hugh Jackman, Rooney Mara and Cara Delevingne.

Writing on Twitter on Tuesday (October 27), Allen said that ‘Something’s Not Right’ was written about losing her “beautiful baby boy”.

She wrote: “5 years ago today I was admitted to hospital. 4 days later I delivered a beautiful baby boy, but sadly he didn’t make it.”

“It’s unlike me to discuss this sort of thing so publicly but I wrote this song in his memory when writing something for @panmovie”.

Allen also directed fans to donate money to Sands, a stillbirth and neonatal death charity.
